The Brand Story
Shayla Varnado is the founder of Black Girls Wine & Society (BGWS), a community of black women with championed wine education for black women. The connection of sisters that love wine but not one specific society that focused on the diversity and inclusion of these women.
Black Girls Wine & Society (BGWS) is a safe space for black women to learn about wine through luxurious experiences so that you never feel alone in the room.
The Transformation
Together we created custom illustrations for the new product launch of BGWS. We accomplished this by incorporating a cohesive design that speaks all things sisterhood, culture and love of wine!Since working with BySafariVee, Shayla has been able to successfully launch her product line for BGW, in addition to repurposing her illustrations to create custom products for the society, a customized journal, and social media templates. This has allowed her to diversifying her product suite in addition to building a sense of community and sisterwood within the Black Girls Wine Society.
